statute

The Middle East Chamber of Buyers Association envisions a statute that governs the association and its operations. The primary tenets on which this statute is based are as follows:

  1. Foster awareness of the economic, social, and civic value that luxury and medium-high level boutiques represent among society, entrepreneurs, consumers, and specialized operators in the fashion sector.
  2. Encourage transparent and clear practices within the Middle East Chamber of Buyers Association by seeking excellence in the services provided by the member-owned enterprises.
  3. Represent the collective interests of luxury and medium-high level multi-brand stores owners to public authorities in Middle East, in Europe and North America, as well as to fashion-related entities, organizations, and associations. Additionally, advocate on behalf of the workers’ trade unions.
  4. Provide unwavering support and assistance to member companies in all circumstances and locations concerning the tasks entrusted to the association. Moreover, undertake any responsibilities assigned by the assembly or the governing bodies on behalf of the category’s best interests.

STORY OF THE CHAMBER

In March 2023, the Middle East Chamber of Buyers was established with Leda Di Marti, experienced fashion wholesale expert, as the President, and Martina Di Pasquale, expert in Communication and Marketing, as the Vice President.

The association was founded after three years of direct experience in the Middle East, where the experts distributed medium-to-high and high-end fashion brands throughout the region using the international consulting and export company, Maelle Group.

The idea to form the Middle East Chamber of Buyers arose from the successful endeavors of Maelle Group in the fashion industry. Having worked closely with various fashion retailers, designers, brands and manufacturers in the Middle East, Europe and Noth America, they recognized the need for a collaborative platform that could further enhance business opportunities for buyers in the region.
